RENOVATION PROJECT NO. 1
This home renovation project aimed to breathe new life into an existing structure. With meticulous planning, a fresh and functional floorplan was devised to maximize space and functionality. Walls were removed to create an open-concept living area, seamlessly merging the kitchen, dining, and living spaces.
Top considerations of this project included maintaining structural integrity while opening the space to allow for a better flow and visibility across the entire first floor of the house

FROM THIS
Closed, dark and compartmentalized
TO THIS
Light, airy, adapted to the residents' lifestyle

This cozy palette is based on soft shades of orange and peach and is accentuated by dark blues and dark greens. It creates a romantic, bohemian feeling and works well at all hours of the day - changing its tones with the movement of the sun.
This scheme will benefit from lots of greenery and can easily contain children and pets, as it welcomes different accent colors and finishes.

The walls in a soft shade of white with eggshell finish, give room for low-sheen accent walls in light-pink. The southern wall of the living area is covered in a graphic orange-themed wallpaper, tying together the different colors seen across the open floorplan.
